Hermione and Draco are at a wedding at the Burrow. Honestly, that's about all I remember. I think everyone is really happy but Hermione, and then Draco finds her and cheers her up. I really loved it but I can't remember anything else about it!

I'm looking for 2 particular fics that I found a long time ago.  

FIC#1:
This is a pretty long fic.  I don't really remember much from it, but I know that near the end of it, the author took a completely unexpected turn and linked the fic to Half Blood Prince.  I think that part was written in Draco's POV -- though I can't be certain -- but the gist of it is that he finally fixed the Vanishing Cabinet and couldn't decide whether he should be proud of himself or whether he hates himself for accomplishing it since at that point, he was in love with Hermione.  I don't think they ended up with Hermione in the end... I vaguely remember it ending exactly as it did in HBP.  It was really heart-wrenching story and believable at the same time, but I can't for the life of me remember what story's called or who wrote it.

FIC#2:
This is a one-shot.  Draco and Hermione bump into each other at a bar.  They proceed to seduce each other, and then sleep together.  It is revealed at the end that they are actually married to each other, and that this is something they do once every year to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Status: I think it's complete, because the author said she was considering doing a sequel, but I'm not completely sure.
Reason:
Draco/Hermione fics are a guilty pleasure of mine, but I don't read them a lot because the plots are usually the same. Draco and Hermione become head boy and girl, or are forced to get married, or she has to tutor him, stuff along those lines. And they usually fall in love randomly, with no build up. But I think this fic is different. The plot is original, though I can't really summarize it without giving much away - I'll post the summary from the fic.

"He was rich, single and disgustingly handsome. Learn how a four-year-old will turn his world up-side down."

All I can say is, this is one of the best D/Hr fics I've read, my favorite being Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing Rat by Maya. The plot is original, characters are well developed, and it is very well written. There are funny moments and sad moments, as well as very sweet/romantic moments, and the sex scenes aren't too overpowering so if you aren't into that, which I'm really not, it shouldn't bother you too bad. There's only like two of them, and they aren't that graphic.

Anyway, I really recommend that any fan of D/Hr reads this fic. It's already got over 1,000 reviews so I guess a lot of people HAVE read it, but seriously. It's pretty great. If you haven't read it, go do so now. I only found it tonight and read straight through it in three hours. It's really long, but it's worth it.

And I really hope there's a sequel.

I've been browsing through the community, and so far it's pretty awesome! Looking forward to going through all the fic recs. 

Anyway, I read a fic a looooong time ago but have since forgotten the title, the author and any other identifying detail. So, I would love it if someone actually knows it, because shockingly enough, Google has failed me on this one. 

All I can remember are these details:

There is a secret room. (and no it is not 'their room' by aleximoon)

Draco and Hermione are in this room, they have had sex, Draco is sleeping and Hermione is reading. Hermione thinks of something and wakes Draco to ask him about it. At that moment, they hear sounds of someone approaching the room, and knowing that it can only be Dumbledore (as he is the only other person who knows about the existence of the room), they scramble to get dressed and pretend as though they have not been doing whatever they had just been doing. 

That is all I can remember from the fic. It's not much, but if it rings a bell in someone's mind... I'll be eternally grateful. :)

Hello! Not long ago I read this really nice fic and I can't seem to find it anywhere. It doesn't help that I don't know the author's name, the title and the website, but alas.

That's what I remember from this story.

Hermione had been captured along with Ginny by the Dark Side and taken to the presence of Voldy and Death Eaters. At some point, Draco claims Hermione for himself and there's a ritual where her magic is transferred to him and he keeps her at his chambers taken care and all nice to her (Ginny was under some spell of Voldemort, and he is trying to get her pregnant).

Anyone can help me? I don't know where else to look.

And since we are at this, at CV I read this song-fic My Immortal and loved it. Now the site is down and I regret not saving me a copy. If anyone can help me in that too would be deeply appreciated!

Hey there! This is my first time posting. I blatantly use LJ only for the reading of fanfiction, and haven't gotten around to anything else.

I'd really love it if someone can recognize a fic I've been trying to relocate. I read this story fairly recently, but my history got screwed up and I can't find it anywhere.

I've got a good memory on it, so I'll be pretty specific. I've only read the first chapter or so.

It's from Draco's POV and he's waiting there at the door that is the portal thing between Azcaban and the Ministry of Magic. He is waiting for his dad to come through the door to be released. He's really excited, even though the last time he and Lucius talked they got into a fight. 

 Narcissa is with him, and she is depicted as a very worrying, loving mother who makes Draco put on his coat when it's cold outside.

Draco is in his twenties.

Arthur Weasley is Minister of Magic, and when Lucius is finally released Arthur is there with Harry Potter to have Lucius sign the paperwork for his release. Arthur almost forgets to give Lucius his wand, and after that Mr. Malfoy becomes more of himself, and less like a dementor-striken ghost.

Harry is there because he promised Lucius to give him back something, and we see this shoe-box sized box with the Malfoy insignia. Draco's never seen it before, and his a bit jealous or whatever because Harry knows something he doesn't. Both Narcissa and Lucius seem super relieved to get their secret  box back.

After a bunch of formalities, they leave to the outside lobby of the MoM and are hounded by journalists, paparazzi, etc. The popular consensus is that Mr. Malfoy should be let to rot. Lucius shakes Arthur's hand, causing a stir. Narcissa and Lucius leave by floo powder, and Malfoy is just about to leave when Harry puts a hand on his shoulder and invites him to a Quidditch pick-up game. Draco is confused.

When Draco gets to his Manor, the elder Malfoys are already making out. They only had contained themselves earlier because they were in public. Draco leaves them to their privacy...

and that's when I stopped reading. Only the first chapter! Can you imagine? It's really well-written. It's been bouncing around in the back of my mind for a while, but I can't seem to find it again.

Hey!  i really need to find this fic.. and i dunno how to use the lj-cut so bear with me...


The things I remember about this fic is that it starts the summer before 7th year.. Draco ends up in Hermione's doorstep, Hermione hides him in her room for a few days then introduces him to her parents... They are reluctant but welcoming... I forgot the reason for it, but Hermione and Draco get married/bonded under the full moon. And Hermione wears the dress her parents give her for a dance she was supposed to attend for the marriage ritual... Then Hermione's father gives Draco the talk.. Then they end up going to the dance together, Hermione finally wearing the dress her parents gave her for the dance... Then that's where everything gets blurry in my memory... The next thing I remember is that once they get to school they are hiding their relationship, for reasons that I forgot (but it might be because if there were married students of differing houses, one would have to switch houses to match the spouse,,, but I'm not sure about that detail)... Then Dumbledore finds out then according to some rules, they have to get married with a ceremony with witnesses in front of the school.. So the full moon ceremony is repeated this time with Hermione's parents and the whole school there.. And that's not the end of it... but that's about all that I remember... please someone help me find it... I really want to read it again...
